Our story is built on real expertise and dedication. As lifelong cannabis enthusiasts and experienced growers since 2009, our founders set out to redefine what a local dispensary could be.



We aren't a corporate chain; we are Charlotte born, Charlotte raised, and community driven. Co-owned by international DJ, producer, and entrepreneur Deejaytrap, Higher Education bridges the gap between premium hemp retail, urban music, and creative culture. By pairing direct local farm partnerships with our in-house media hub, The Trap Club, we have built a space that celebrates the plant while empowering local artists, businesses, and neighborhood voices.
